There have not been many players in the history of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four history to arrive at the pinnacle event of the basketball season in a situation similar to Iffe Lundberg s. Rest assured, there is nothing unusual about the 26-year old guard being one of the key cogs in the CSKA Moscow machine other than the fact that he has only 13 career EuroLeague games under his belt.
Having made his competition debut in late February after starring with Polish club Zielona Gora during the first part of the season, Lundberg has been instrumental in CSKA s late-season success and the nine-game winning streak it brings to Cologne. Such a jump between competitions can be overwhelming, but not for Lundberg who averaged 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals in CSKA s playoff sweep of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.

After missing almost the whole 2019-20 season with a torn ACL, CSKA Moscow s Will Clyburn was back with a vengeance this season and he sealed that with a career performance that allowed his team to go to its ninth straight Final Four and earn him the MVP of the Week honor for Games 3 and 4 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. Clyburn shined in Game 3 with a PIR 38 at Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and led CSKA to a series sweep that punched its ticket to be in Cologne in late May to play for the title. It was a night to remember for Clyburn, who set new personal bests in PIR, points (34), three-pointers made (5) and free throws made (11). He also added 7 rebounds and 1 steal to a great all-around performance in 31 minutes coming off the bench. It was the highest PIR for the winner of a playoff game in 15 years. It was a record night in more ways than one on Wednesday when CSKA Moscow took the high road to become the first qualifier for the 2021 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four.
CSKA used a 6-35 run spanning the second and third quarters to register a dominant 68-85 victory over Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul to win their best-of-five series 3-0.
The sweep gave CSKA a record ninth Final Four berth in a row, dating back to 2012, surpassing the all-time EuroLeague mark that the club had first set when it reached eight consecutive editions of the season s main event between 2003 and 2010.
