Kron 4 Charles Clifford has the latest. Well, here in san jose, thousands of city workers have overwhelmingly voted to go on strike. San jose city workers into unions have voted to authorize a 3 day strike starting tuesday, august 15th running through the 17th 4500 workers from across the city, including employees at the airport and city facilities, such as libraries are now set to walk off the job next week. The union say that the main sticking points are disagreements over wages and benefits. The unions also say they want the city to address Staffing Shortages. Striking is a last resort. A car towed out of the water after 3 simultaneous car crashes, the drivers of 2 other cars ended colliding with fire hydrants. It all happened as drivers participated in an illegal sideshow and tried to flee from police. Our first grant lotus has the latest on the investigation. Just unbelievable images there. These incidents are connected to a sideshow that happened. Early sunday morning here in the parking lots of the marina and smiths landing there by the delta as police were trying to disperse the sideshow, a car crashed into another car and a fire hydrant. The driver was caught after trying to run away. Police say the driver in the other car is a woman in her 50s has been hospitalized with severe injuries and this was not the only incident
