Great news for minorities in our community was released today surrounding access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
It s strange to think that, over the past year, the things that we have been going through here in the Treasure Valley, across the State of Idaho and beyond have also been impacting the entirety of the globe. While COVID-19 seemed to divide many, you would think that a global suffering like we have seen, would actually humanize the stranger and bring us closer together. Regardless, as a small glimmer of light at the end of this COVID-19 tunnel begins to appear, millions await the opportunity to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
Idaho Walmart Locations to Carry COVID Vaccine
Thousands of Idahoan s have already been vaccinated for COVID-19 and more are on the way. I was so excited to hear that both my mom and ALL of my grandparents received their first round of vaccines over the last week or so. I m so ready to have another layer of protection for our community and for my loved ones.
The State of Idaho has now opened up a much more transparent window into doses that are already in the State of Idaho and how many are on the way. With that, we re learning that additional doses of Moderna vaccines are on their way in as soon as this week. The State of Idaho also announced that Walmart and Albertsons have been selected to distribute vaccines.
