In South Australia, Steven Marshall s first-term Liberal Government has been plunged into minority after backbench MP Fraser Ellis was charged with 23 deception offences, relating to allegedly fraudulent claims of a parliamentary allowance.
It all began with an ABC investigation.

The Tasmanian Government has today released the Final Report of the Electoral Act Review, paving the way for new legislation to be drafted to deliver a political donation disclosure scheme in Tasmania. This will deliver a fairer, more transparent and modern electoral system for our State.
“When I outlined my Government’s priorities for 2021, releasing this Report along with our response was front and centre, and today we are delivering on our commitment to create a fairer, more transparent and modern electoral system for our State.
“I want to make the very strong point that whilst there will always be those who will claim that the system is not fair or that it is open to manipulation we are not acting because an ICAC or other similar body like our Integrity Commission has recommended we do so.

The Northern Territory s first Independent Commissioner Against Corruption has announced his retirement, two years before his term is due to end.

The ICAC is investigating more than 50 allegations of serious and systemic misconduct
Ken Fleming QC was appointed as the head of the NT s anti-corruption watchdog in July 2018 and plans to relinquish the role in July this year.
Saugatuck child predator sentenced

SAUGATUCK, MICH. â The Michigan State Police (MSP) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force announced the sentence of Justin Williams, 26, of Saugatuck, on charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct (CSC) and Child Sexually Abusive Material (CSAM).
On Jan. 11, 2021, Williams pleaded guilty to first degree CSC and was sentenced to 18 years 9 months to 50 years. Williams also pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of CSAM and was sentenced to 7 years 11 months to 25 years.
Initiated by the Fifth District Computer Crimes Unit, Williams was found to be in possession of CSAM. Additionally Williams was found manufacturing CSAM.
