Subscriber only Leading broadcasters Alan Jones and Ray Hadley will deliver eulogies at the State funeral of rugby league great, Bob Fulton, on Friday morning. NSW s State of Origin team and the entire Manly squad - from NRL to junior pathway players - will form a joint guard of honour for Fulton, who died on May 23 from cancer.
The larger-than-life times of Tommy Raudonikis were celebrated at the SCG on Monday with the rugby league community uniting to farewell the legendary halfback.
Members of his family were joined by league luminaries from his Wests and Newtown days, as well as representatives from NSW, Queensland and the ARL Commission.
ARL chairman Peter V landys and Commissioner Wayne Pearce, NRL CEO Andrew Abdo and Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga were among the many who paid their respects, alongside NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, who posted on social media that it was fantastic to see so many people from different walks of life come together to pay tribute to a true champion of the people and the sport .

With these three words, long-serving Newtown Jets official Terry Rowney put the big fella on notice about welcoming to heaven the ultimate footy scallywag, Tommy Raudonikis. The cheeky comment brought laughter from a 500-strong gathering sitting in the famous SCG Members Pavilion on Monday during a memorial service for the legendary Wests and Newtown halfback and rascal, who died on April 7. It was an eclectic congregation, ranging from millionaires in suits and Cartier sunglasses to knockabouts wearing thongs, stubbies and Wests Magpies jumpers with VICTA splashed across the front - Tommy s kind of people.
