The larger-than-life times of Tommy Raudonikis were celebrated at the SCG on Monday with the rugby league community uniting to farewell the legendary halfback.
Members of his family were joined by league luminaries from his Wests and Newtown days, as well as representatives from NSW, Queensland and the ARL Commission.
ARL chairman Peter V'landys and Commissioner Wayne Pearce, NRL CEO Andrew Abdo and Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga were among the many who paid their respects, alongside NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, who posted on social media that it was "fantastic to see so many people from different walks of life come together to pay tribute to a true champion of the people and the sport".
