The NIA said that the plea of the accused was not tenable and the agency had sought an extension on September 25 to file the chargesheet which was granted by the special court for 90 days till December 28.
An NIA officer said Dr Adnanali Sarkar (43) was arrested following raids and the agency seized several incriminating materials, including electronic gadgets and several documents related to ISIS, from his house.
Special public prosecutor Sundeep Sadavarte for NIA submitted that further custody of the four men is required as voluminous data has been recovered from them.
