Happened. Heres what they know so far. The shooting happened in front of the outlet mall in vacaville. The suspect was killed. It started at 12 30 this morning. Officers were following a car and ran the plates and discovered the car was stolen. They attempted to make a car stop on that stolen vehicle, and a pursuit began. The suspect took the i80 offramp at leisure town road and the officers performed a pit maneuver and shortly after that pit maneuver they indicated that shots were fired. Reporter that pit maneuver you heard him mention, thats when the officers use the front of their car to tap the bumper of the car they are chasing causing it to spin out, and they are working to identify who was killed and one officer was hurt and taken to the hospital, and not shot and not sure what happened to him but he is expected to be okay, and officers will be here investigating for several more hours. Security guard is out of a job all because of a fight over a stolen backpack. It was all captured on cell phone video. This is cell phone video of a fight that has cost a Security Guard her job. It broke out on the third deck during last nights game between the as and the giants, the opener of the bay bridge series. You can see a female Security Guard wearing a black jacket who appears to be hitting a female fan and grabbing her hair. There also appears to be a second Security Guard involved in the fight at one point. Other guards step in. Witnesses told ktvu that the fans were rowdy and were heckling the Security Guard. At one point one of the guards came back and flipped off the crowd. A fan threw a beer at the guard. In another video you can see Police Officers responding. The Department Says the fight was over a backpack stolen from another Security Guard. It was later recovered with some items still missing. The goal a wider, safer roadway. Crews will build a temperature road so next weekend they can demolish this bridge without impacting traffic. Southbound lanes of the turnpike near griffin. It was shut down for hours. We were down there just about a half hour ago and we want to go ahead and show you the scene. The 26yearold driver slammed into an 18 wheeler. The driver of the tractor trailer tried serving to avoid impossible. The hyundai ended up, upside down. There were other cars on the road that managed to avoid being involved, otherwise it could have been a whole lot worse. Reports of other vehicles narrowly missing this wrong way driver and that again, we heard so, which made it even more difficult to spot. The driver a 26yearold man from miami. Two people inside the 18 wheeler both walked away unharmed. At this point the cause of the accident is still being investigated to see whether alcohol or drugs played a factor.
