Again, there was actually another fire one week ago. And the fire marshall is actually still investigating that fire. Meantime, it took crews just about two hours to get this fire under control this morning. And dozens of firefighters remain on scene this morning. Now, eight people from one of the neighboring homes had to be evacuated as a precaution, told many of them staying with family, just as soon as the scene is cleared, they will be allowed to go back into their home, of course, it is a very cold morning to be out of your home. Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire. A man suspected of sexual assaulting a 10yearold boy is in jail this morning in dublin. He was taken into custody on tuesday in fremont. The Boy Tells Police be raja approached him on january 27th as he was walking on 98th avenue in east oakland around 3 00 in the afternoon. That is when the boy said baraha lured him to a nearby area and assaulted him. A volunteer cub scout metic is facing pornography charges. 45yearold james braeasily was arrested last week. He has a paramedic license and was also a den leader for the cup scouts. There is no indication any scouts were involved in the case. A
Piecing together what happened. At 3 20 this afternoon fire and Police Responded to a 911 call from someone who found a man dead inside the apartment complex for low income seniors. Police say he was in the lobby by the front entrance. We found a second person down, also apparently deceased. We recovered one firearm in the area where they were found. Reporter police have not yet said what relationship between the two men was. And theyre not released the identities until the families are notified. The Police Investigation surprised parents picking up their children from after School Programs at the Jewish Community center next door. A little scary so we had no idea what was going on.
