Tonight s Firefly Inferno match at WWE TLC ended in shocking fashion with The Fiend being set on fire by Randy Orton!
In the concluding moments of the match, Orton and The Fiend tried to push each other into the flames on the outside leading to Orton setting The Fiend on fire.
The Fiend ran into the ring and got hit with an RKO. Orton checked to see if Fiend was still conscious but he didn t move, Orton grabbed a gas can and poured it over the Fiend s body. Orton then lit a flame and dropped it on the Fiend engulfing him in flames!

On his most recent podcast, Jim Ross discussed his expectations for Sting in AEW since signing a multi-year deal with the company.

“What’s really going on is Tony Khan reached out, hired Sting to multi-year deal. He’s gonna have a variety of roles. I don’t know what they are exactly, but they’ll be in a creative capacity to where he’s a character on television. There’s a lot of ways to be a character on TV that’s been accepted by the audience nowadays that doesn’t include wrestling a match every week. I don’t think anybody should wrestle a match every week on television. I think it’s the kiss of death. You want to keep your talent fresh, so you don’t want to overexpose them. A report from HeelByNature.com reveals AEW filed trademarks for ‘AEW Elevation’ and ‘AEW Dark’ on December 16, 2020.
The trademarks have been registered for
entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events.
There is some speculation that Elevation could be the name of AEW s new television show which is expected to launch in 2021.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Asuka s mystery partner could be the returning Charlotte Flair. Meltzer noted that he has asked sources within the company about Charlotte possibly making her return tonight:
“All I know about Charlotte Flair is that I’ve asked around about it and everyone’s been real quiet. I mean there’s a good chance of that”.
