Killed. We just talked to the special agent in charge. A robbery happened in the area in the wee hours of the morning. On his way home, a deputy stopped here where he believes the robbery suspects may be. When he got here, he called for backup. The car sped off and hit the telephone pole. You can see in the video, four deputies fired weapons and a man considered a suspect was shot and killed. The woman was with him was not. None of the four sheriffs deputies were injured and all four of them now, are on administrative leave. Again, the shooting victim is considered a suspect and that is all we know right now. Dci is here handling the investigation and the coroner is also here. Now, again, we dont know if the suspect fired shots. We just know that the deputies fired shots and the woman who was with him in the car is considered a witness. Shes currently at the Ashtabula County sheriffs office. Rates have shifted. Energy has moved farther south and the heaviest rainfall is moving out from centre city. Some very heavy rain when driving here in lakewood. Again, headed toward cleveland. It is about 10 to 15 minutes out. Also watching some thunderstorms a little farther south in wayne county. A lot of lightning flower showers with this. He will fill the thunderstorms pick up any minute now as we continue to watch sales here to the north pick heights, seven hills, willow and this will continue to shift east.
