Thirty four years ago. Pat cassels was a sophomore and a cheerleader for clemson when the team won the 1981 National Championship. Now pat and her husband tobin are making the trip to glendale for the big game on monday. Pat says, she hopes the tigers can beat the oddsmakers just l le they did in 82. Back in 1981 they didnt give us a snowballs chance of winning the game. We serve over 30,000s a week and the majority of the pantry participants are older adults and whom receive ssi and ineligible for benefits. Many are frail and disabled and struggle to attend food pant reese regularly.
