For December, the store leadership at Hannaford’s in Damariscotta has selected the Help Yourself Shelf (HYS) to receive a $1 donation from every purchase of the $2.50 Fight Hunger Bag and 25 cents from the sale of their new Snack Pal Plates Program.

Waldo County Technical Center becomes February recipient of Hannaford reusable bag fundraiser Fri, 02/05/2021 - 1:00pm (Photo courtesy Waldo County Technical Center) Waldo County Technical Center (WCTC) has been chosen to be the recipient of Hannaford Helps reusable bag program for the month February. According to Hannaford’s website, “each time a shopper purchases the $2.50 Fight Hunger Bag at your selected Hannaford location your nonprofit will receive a $1 donation, unless otherwise directed by the Giving Tag.”  The program within WCTC that will receive donations is the Food4Friends/Cool2Be Warm program, which provides clothing, food and toiletries free of charge to Tech Center students in need.
