AMPANG - Program saringan Covid-19 percuma untuk penduduk Hulu Kelang dan Bukit Antarabangsa yang berlangsung di Dewan Serbaguna MPAJ AU5, di Keramat berjalan lancar walaupun dibanjiri orang ramai apabila 300 individu dicalit dalam masa sejam.
Penyelaras Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Bukit Antarabangsa, Suzana Shaharudin berkata, persiapan rapi telah dilakukan pihaknya untuk memastikan masa menunggu yang singkat serta keutamaan diberikan kepada golongan kurang upaya (OKU), ibu mengandung, warga emas dan keluarga dengan anak kecil.
“Program ini adalah untuk penduduk dalam kawasan DUN Bukit Antarabangsa dan Hulu Kelang. Sasaran keseluruhan kami adalah 2,000 orang, yang telah mendaftar menerusi aplikasi SELangkah 1,000 orang dan kami jangkakan ramai lagi akan datang hari ini secara walk-in.
KLANG: A total of 97, 565 people have undergone swab tests throughout Selangor in the state’s free Covid-19 community screening programme from May 8 to June 10.

LETTER | The late Dr Anthony (Anthonysamy Savarinathan) who passed away last week (on May 29) was a household name for us the Good Shepherd Sisters, who resided in Hulu Kelang, Ampang and had the great privilege of meeting the doctor.
Anthony Clinic was a few miles away from our convent and although busy with streams of patients, Dr Anthony would assure us that we could come over whenever we phoned to say we had somebody; a sister, staff or a resident in our centre who was needing to see the doctor.
