The Ocean of Helena Lee movie review (2015)

The film is always visually arresting and takes on the mantle of a tone poem that oftentimes suggests the work of such filmmakers as Terrence Malick and David Gordon Green (the Malick connection is especially strong thanks to a narration by Helena reminiscent of the one delivered by Linda Manz in Days of Heaven).

LETTER | Farewell to Dr Anthony, who always went the extra mile Modified7:09 am - LETTER | The late Dr Anthony (Anthonysamy Savarinathan) who passed away last week (on May 29) was a household name for us the Good Shepherd Sisters, who resided in Hulu Kelang, Ampang and had the great privilege of meeting the doctor.  Anthony Clinic was a few miles away from our convent and although busy with streams of patients, Dr Anthony would assure us that we could come over whenever we phoned to say we had somebody; a sister, staff or a resident in our centre who was needing to see the doctor.

Jenny eyes figures skating gold in Special Olympics | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

A YOUNG figure skater from Skipton has overcome challenges with her disability and will be going for gold in two Special Olympics events. Jennifer Lee, 24, who has trained at Bradford Ice Arena for the last ten years, has been selected to compete in the 2022 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Kazan, Russia. Jenny, a former pupil at South Craven School in Cross Hills, will compete in the level three figure skating singles category and in a pairs event with Callum Mills, a young man from Chesterfield who has charge syndrome and is deaf. Her mother, Helena Lee, said: Jenny was quite normal when she was born, but then at nine months we noticed she wasn t able to sit up. At three, wasn t able to walk.
