Well, happy to be here, and i think your sense about the way the book encounters the current conversation is accurate. My background in this is, there are two influences, i suppose. So i grew up in rural gun culture which was black gun culture. So everyone that i knew, all of the, you know, the good people of the community, my grandfather and father who were both ministers both owned guns and so did everybody else in the community. Work rules. At issue, work rules, specifically overtime and schedule changes. Management at this time does not have control over its scheduled, overtime, how we divvy up work. What the job looks like, 10 or eighthour shifts. Reporter the unions say they were making progress on wages and benefits until these work ruled were dropped on them at the last minute.
