Terry Gou donates NT$10 million to bereaved police families

Taipei, Aug. 26 (CNA) Terry Gou (郭台銘), founder of manufacturing giant Foxconn, on Friday pledged to donate NT$5 million (US$165,268) to the families of each of the two police officers who were killed in the line of duty on Monday after being stabbed by a fugitive who overstayed permission to temporarily leave prison grounds.
