Kerala government includes foreign job & study aspirants in priority list of COVID vaccination

The Kerala government has included those who are going abroad for studies and employment purpose, in the prioritised group under the 18-45 years age category for the COVID-19 vaccination. An immediate decision has been taken in this regard as many foreign countries have made vaccination compulsory for those arriving there for study and job purposes, Health Minister Veena George said here on Tuesday.

S Suresh Kumar made it clear that the exams were necessary and that they will be conducted once the covid cases are brought under control.
“We have decided to conduct II PU exams once the cases are under control. We want to give a time frame of 15-20 days before announcing the final time table. We also plan to conduct separate exams for students who miss out due to covid. There is also a proposal to simplify the exam procedure, but it would require at least 45 days for the process to be over,” the minister said, adding that the

No decision yet on cancelling Karnataka SSLC, PUC-II exams
The Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Monday said no decision has been taken on cancelling the 10th class
examination and the second pre-university examination. We have not taken any decision on cancelling the SSLC or the PUC-II exams, which were postponed earlier in view of the rising COVID cases, Kumar said in a statement. Stating that reports in a section of the media were only speculation, he said the decision would be taken in the future and asked students not to get disturbed but focus on studies.
