Published February 10, 2021, 1:55 PM Mocha Uson and Enchong Dee Former singer-turned-government official Mocha Uson has described as blind critics who do not appreciate the efforts and achievements of President Duterte. Uson, Deputy Executive Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, made the remarks after Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee made a shout-out on social media that many Filipinos are suffering under the present administration. While Dee did not name names in his post, many believe that his statement is an indirect attack at the government. “Andyan ka pa rin?? Hoy Gising! Ang daming Pilipino naghihirap ngayon, yun muna unahin natin. Kahit wala kaming franchise nakakapagbigay serbisyo kami,” Dee said.

Agot Isidro, Enchong Dee dismayed with Duterte vowing to deny ABS-CBN a new franchise

Published February 9, 2021, 4:52 PM Several celebrities were infuriated with President Duterte recently declaring his intention to ignore any franchise application in behalf of ABS-CBN. Actress-singer Agot Isidro and actor Enchong Dee both took to social media to criticize the president not long after he made the pronouncement. Isidro maintained the declaration has since made everything clear. It was Duterte and Duterte alone who was responsible for ABS-CBN’s shutdown. She tweeted:  “Si Duterte. Hindi ang kongreso, hindi ang NTC. Utos niya, simula’t sapul.” Dee, meanwhile, expressed exasperation with the president still harping on the matter. He tweeted, “Andyan ka pa rin?? Hoy Gising! Ang daming Pilipino naghihirap ngayon, yun muna unahin natin…”
