It was a scene many wanted to see here all week. Roya is tired of waiting. I have two sisters and family coming from iran. They were stopped twice, once last sunday and once two days ago. Reporter but this weekend family kept apart had reason to believe theyd be made whole again. A federal judges decision to halt the travel ban reopened america to all. By the way, theyre getting 3 to 4inch snow rates with this monster storm up here. This thing has been incredible up there. So a total of 14 inches across parts of central miscellaneous ms. Arrival of the new u. S. Education secretary betsy devos. Shes visiting Jefferson Memorial Junior High School today. Black lives matter demonstrators and other people were protesting outside the school around the time of ms. Devoss arrival. On the other end teachers and parents held a peaceful vigil to promote Public Education. They joined the president of the Washington Teachers Union to voice their concerns about devoss new role. We simply cannot be on the sideline allowing things to happen to our Public School system without voicing our concerns and raising our voice and resisting things that will be harmful to our kids. Now, transit systems from maryland are losing money, all because state lawmakers missed a deadline to help metro. Adam, this is the big impact. 9 million in federal help is being repealed. Even metro itself. The feds blame maryland and virginia lawmake areless. Lawmakerless. The deadline was yesterday. They just sent this letter to say it did tails the project details the project for losing money. The metro crash. The fda has been pushing to make this new safety oversight program.
