One Houston company, Premier Wrestling Federation, has managed to hold together through a combination of incredible in-ring talent and a penchant for world-class theatrics, albeit on a smaller scale. The company was founded five years ago by Jerry Heacock, who began PWF as a pop-up show that would stage events in bars and other locations, like crawfish boils. Eventually, he bought the Houston Premier Arena on Avenue B, a place that several wrestling companies, such as Loko Wrestling, also use.
