Beyoncé may not say much, but she s always working especially for her hometown.
The Third Ward native s BeyGOOD Foundation and Adidas are teaming up with Houston s Bread of Life to bring urgent relief to residents who have been affected by the deadly winter storms in Texas and beyond.

This isn t the first time the Houstonian has partnered with Bread of Life. In 2020, she donated streaming proceeds from her Savage remix to the organization, which serves hot meals to homeless men and women at St. John’s United Methodist Church.

Regarding “J.J. Watt’s Texans tenure” (Feb. 12): I heard J.J. Watt’s farewell to Houston. He was the heart and the soul of the Texans. Of course that means the Texans no longer have a heart or a soul. The McNairs better get used to the fact that they’re going to have to sell the team or face a boycott by the fans.

The coronavirus pandemic has been rough on the wrestling industry and has led to bizarre spectacles such as tapings in empty arenas. One Houston company, Premier Wrestling Federation, has managed to hold together through a combination of incredible in-ring talent and a penchant for world-class theatrics, albeit on a smaller scale.
The company was founded five years ago by Jerry Heacock, who began PWF as a pop-up show that would stage events in bars and other locations, like crawfish boils. Eventually, he bought the Houston Premier Arena on Avenue B, a place that several wrestling companies, such as Loko Wrestling, also use. Heacock completely refurbished it, building a stage with a screen above the entrance ramp similar to World Wre
