Houston s Premier Wrestling Federation still delivers hits during quarantine

The coronavirus pandemic has been rough on the wrestling industry and has led to bizarre spectacles such as tapings in empty arenas. One Houston company, Premier Wrestling Federation, has managed to hold together through a combination of incredible in-ring talent and a penchant for world-class theatrics, albeit on a smaller scale.
The company was founded five years ago by Jerry Heacock, who began PWF as a pop-up show that would stage events in bars and other locations, like crawfish boils. Eventually, he bought the Houston Premier Arena on Avenue B, a place that several wrestling companies, such as Loko Wrestling, also use.
