HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) A gunmen shot four people, killing three of them in southwest Houston. Two of the victims killed were just 18 years old.
It happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of an apartment complex at Ranchester and Bellwood.
According to Houston police, it started with five people in parking lot who got into a confrontation with two men in a gold or brown sedan.
During the argument, the men say they ll come back.
Ten to 15 minutes later, they return and open fire completely unprovoked, said HPD Commander David Angelo.
Two 18-year-olds, a man and a woman, were killed. A man in his 40s also died.
A husband and wife say they shot and killed their house guest after they claimed he held them hostage for days at their home on Rosamond near Northline in north Houston.

Just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday, HPD says officers were called to an apartment complex on Goodson and Airline Drive in the Greenspoint area.
A woman said her brother was destroying her apartment, according to police.

3 teens shot during night of citywide gun violence across Houston

Authorities responded to at least eleven people who were shot since Saturday night across the Houston area.
Two teens were shot around 3 a.m. near Corporate Drive and Sharpcrest Street. A 14-year-old and a 19-year-old were walking along the road when an older model four-door vehicle pulled up and someone began shooting, according to Houston police. The 19-year-old was shot in the leg and backside, and the 14-year-old was struck in the collarbone. Both victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
Shootings involving teens are part of a trend in violence across Houston this year. So far, there have been at least ten homicides involving teens in 2021.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) An armed suspect accused of carjacking a woman with a child at a gas station was shot by police overnight near Hobby Airport.
Houston police say that around 12:45 a.m. Monday, patrol sergeants with the Southeast Division saw a Mercedes-Benz speeding over 100 miles per hour down Telephone Road before heading eastbound on Airport.
Officers called dispatch, who relayed that a black Mercedes-Benz had just been taken in a carjacking at a gas station at the Beltway and Telephone Road.
Officials say a man went inside the convenience store, leaving his wife and child in the car. That s when the suspect approached them, forcing the woman and child out at gunpoint. They were not seriously hurt.
