Two people were shot to death outside a Midtown McDonald s Friday night after a disturbance. It happened around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of Main Street. A group of people were riding scooters in the area and exchanged words with another group standing near a vehicle, according to Houston police. At least one of the groups opened fire, hitting two men. One of the victims died outside the McDonald s. The other victim was found on Fannin Street and was taken to a hospital. Investigators believe there may have been a female victim involved, but were still trying to locate her Saturday morning. The shooting victims were brothers, police said. There was no word on what happened to the shooter.

Authorities responded to at least eleven people who were shot since Saturday night across the Houston area.
Two teens were shot around 3 a.m. near Corporate Drive and Sharpcrest Street. A 14-year-old and a 19-year-old were walking along the road when an older model four-door vehicle pulled up and someone began shooting, according to Houston police. The 19-year-old was shot in the leg and backside, and the 14-year-old was struck in the collarbone. Both victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
Shootings involving teens are part of a trend in violence across Houston this year. So far, there have been at least ten homicides involving teens in 2021.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) At least three people died Thursday in separate incidents across the city between 7 a.m. and noon, police said.
A woman who s believed to have been homeless was stabbed to death in the 1700 block of Morris Street on Houston s north side. Officers found the woman s body in the street around 7:10 a.m. with multiple stab wounds. While police were investigating the incident, a man approached officers and said he was the attacker, according to Houston police. The man appeared to be under the influence of PCP, investigators said.
Just over two hours later, police were called to a report of a man who was found shot inside his car. It happened around 9:50 a.m. in the 6000 block of Rookin Street in southwest Houston. The victim had two gunshot wounds to his chest, police said. Investigators believe the man was shot inside the car, but didn t have any indication on what led to the shooting or who was involved.
