Our rs have increased in San Francisco in comparison to other cities throughout the bay area. If we dont coinue to invest in these particular efforts, things could potentialget worse, i think that making investments, following through, accountability

For people suffering with ex trem mental illness, i think we really need to do better. I think we all agree of that. We shouldnt wait for contact with the police to provide shelter and treatment. I agree we need a better, much more Robust Mental Health system and that we need to have appropriate housing for people facing mental illness. And yes, we also need more front line Mental Health providers on the streets to connect with people already on the streets and suffering. I think thats really important and especially i would love to see that kind of force out there to be ahead of the police contacting people on the streets. But, we also need a way to help people who are in severe crisis but wont accept help. We cannot
