Thats what happened. The first cal train started rolling by slowly about 45 minutes ago after a fourhour disruption. Behind me you can see pg e workers where a cross arm had burned off. The first time was a brushfire and we had to wait for buses. There was an explosion on the nearby power pole that spewed sparks and fire. A transmission line drooped over the tracks. It was huge. A loud pop. A couple of guys over here why yelling to get away because the cables were shaking. The train stopped and they told us that there was a wire down across the tracks. Im going to switch hats and speak at the chair of the Advisory Committee im sure youre aware of the committee recently expressed their support to make sure that the p d d helps with the acquisition of new vehicles to help with the sizeable population growth and Training Staff and street inspectors and other front line operators so we can achieve our improvements in the city. Public Transit is a net when it comes to increasing the moebltd of seniors resident most that dent and for miss many of us the cost of transportation is important we rely on ssi income it runs 23 theres this year it may not sound like much but some seminars couples can only afford to buy one muni pass. If we can help to awe at least this by providing free transit to seniors and disabled folks it will hope folks who struggle to pay their rent in this city speaking foreign language. the city is getting increasingly high and if we want San Francisco
