This is what happened after a specially chartered amtrak train carrying republicans to a gop retreat has crashed into a garbage truck. The train has stopped on the tracks. A number of officials in the area as well. This happened in virginia, not too far from charlottesville. From what we understand, there are some injuries to those on board. We have been tracking a number of lawmakers. Several republicans taking to twitter, letting people know about the accident and saying that theyre okay. But, again, as we push into the truck that was hit, we can see it is pretty mangled up front. Again, were still working to understand exactly what happened.
