PLUMAS COUNTY, Calif. – If you need some wood, there is a stash ready for free pickup in the Plumas National Forest near Quincy.
Officials with the Mt. Hough Ranger District have cured wood already cut in lengths next to a road – a mix of pine, white fir, and Douglas Fir.
The trees that have been downed and stacked are in and around the Snake Lake Campground which is located west of Quincy.
