Beckwourth Complex Fire burns 105,000 acres, sits at 68% containment

The Beckwourth Complex Fire has burned 105,161 acres and is 68% contained as of Friday morning, according to the Plumas County National Forest Facebook page. Made up of two separate fires, the Dotta and Sugar Fires, the Beckwourth Complex Fire officially burned over 100,000 acres by early Thursday morning. The Sugar Fire is the larger threat of the two as it has burned 104,567 of the total acreage of both fires as of Friday morning, according to Plumas County fire officials. The Dotta Fire is 99% contained and has burned 594 acres.
