Michelin-starred chef bringing Hungarian cuisine to Turnpike Lane
Super exciting news for those Austro-Hungarian food fans among us and to be honest who doesn t like a bit of goulasch. According to Hot Dinners a Hungarian restaurant and deli (deli opeing in March and restaurant a bit later) is coming to Turnpike Lane. I have checked out the address given on Turul s Insta etc and it is what is currently called The London Cafe/Gonul - ie right next to the tube station. There is already a poster about the new incumbent in the back window. In the kitchen is Balazs Berta, previously at the Goring Dining Room no less. I m very excited.
