shows three hospitals in south foster, virginia, tasing a man outside of emergency room. shortly after, that man died in police custody. the video begins with officers picking lambert up at a hotel early one morning in may of 2013. after several 911 call, made about noise. and in court records police say because of the way lambert was acting, they decided to take him to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. they say he made comments about murdering two people and hiding their bodies in the ceiling. we re going to take you out to hospital and we re going to get you make sure you re good to go. reporter: inside the patrol car, police say he kicked out the window. then the video shows lambert running straight into hospital doors while hand cuffed. falls to the ground. and the officers repeatedly ask him to roll over on his stomach,
i think each tasing incident was inappropriate and uncalled for. but even if you suggest him running towards the hospital doors and tasing him to stop him the first time was appropriate, which i say is not. he s on the ground, and they continue to tase him. three officers simultaneously continuing the tasered are fired 20 times. can you hear mr. lambert on the ground saying please don t do this to me! why are you trying to kill me? please stop! he s pleading with them to stop doing this to him. he s on the ground. he s in handcuffs. and they shackle him. and more outrageous, the second event is then they don t take him to the hospital in the first place where he needs treatment or they believed he needed treatment to begin with. after he s been tased and put them back in the car and continue to tase him in shackles and handcuffs restrained in the back of the car. joe messa and gwendolyn smalls, thank you so much for being with me. thanks for having us. up next, a quick check

custody. the video from the police dashcam believes with the officers picking 46-year-old lambert up at a hotel early a night in 2013 after 911 calls about noise. police decided to take him to the hospital for a mental health evaluation based on the way he was acting. take a listen. we re not locking you up. what we re doing here is we re going to take you to the emergency room and get you looked at and make sure you good to go. the situation quickly escalated from there once at the hospital lambert began acting erratic and tried to kick out the window of the patrol car before running into the hospital doors. this is video from the hospital and eventually lambert is on the ground handcuffed as the officers threatened to taze him if he didn t roll on his stomach. listen to this. roll over.
