Some dry weather on thursday with partly sunny skies after nearly three full days of deliberation. The jury in the pete polson attempted murder trial returned a verdict this afternoon. There answer on all charges. Guilty. Stephanie moore has been covering the trial for us. She joins us now live with more. Pete polson was found guilty of all nine charges but at different degrees than what the state prosecutor 5451we the jury in the above and titled case find the defendant Pete Jason Polson guilty of the crime of attempt to commit murder to mark mitchell. Polson was also found guilty of two counts of assault to inflict serious injury for shooting at Zach Whitehill and matt
Whitehill and matt stephenson. The state charged polson for attempted murder for those two shootings but the jury chose the lesser charge. Stephenson avoided injury but whitehill was shot in the back and neck and has permanent nerve damage a result of the shooting. Polson was also found guilty on two counts of willful injury as well as all the drug and weapons charges he faced. Polson showed little emotion as the verdict was read and was immediately taken into custody without bond. I did have a chance to speak to a few of the victims and they were still trying to process the verdict and did not want to go on camera. Polson will be sentenced in december on all nine charges.
