Seaports To Open On January 21 Next Year Press Release   Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has announced that the seaports of the British Virgin Islands will be opened to international travel on January 21, 2021. Premier Fahie made the announcement during a live update on the reopening of the Territory’s borders on Monday evening. The Premier said, “Given the number of persons that have been coming into the T.B. Lettsome Airport, which far exceeds our projection in this era, we see an opportunity to further strengthen our seaports to successfully balance lives and livelihood. We want the team there to be fully equipped as we COVID-19 proof the Territory.”

According to the Premier, love is invaluable but yet inexpensive and can be shared by everyone. “I want you during this season of joy to spread the one thing that you don’t need money for, which is love. You don’t need money to buy love and even if you have money you can’t buy true love. So make sure you have love in your heart, yes you will have the need for finances, but I have met some miserable rich people, and I have seen some people on the television with all the money in the world, and it couldn’t save them from COVID-19.

WEST END, Tortola, VI- Some forty children from the First District are now more equipped with the techniques of public speaking, thanks to a collaboration of the Tortola Toastmasters and the First District Committee. According to First District Representative and Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A, Fahie (R1) on his Facebook page on December 9, 2020, with great commitment, the 40 First District youngsters logged on virtually every Sunday at 4:00 pm for five consecutive weeks to learn from the Tortola Toastmasters about the art of public speaking. He said guest speakers, as well as Toastmasters Members, demonstrated and transferred several practical skills and techniques necessary for personal and professional development.
