WEST END, Tortola, VI- Some forty children from the First District are now more equipped with the techniques of public speaking, thanks to a collaboration of the Tortola Toastmasters and the First District Committee.
According to First District Representative and Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A, Fahie (R1) on his Facebook page on December 9, 2020, with great commitment, the 40 First District youngsters logged on virtually every Sunday at 4:00 pm for five consecutive weeks to learn from the Tortola Toastmasters about the art of public speaking.
He said guest speakers, as well as Toastmasters Members, demonstrated and transferred several practical skills and techniques necessary for personal and professional development.
