As the country battles the deadly second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the CSR arm of all Honda group companies in India Honda India Foundation today announced that it has earmarked Rs 6.50 crore for the relief measures, which include setting up of isolation centres and oxygen production plants, and distribution of PPE kits and medical equipment.

KERALA: Sun TV Network, owners of IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad, has donated Rs 30 crore towards India s Covid2019 relief efforts. The amount donated by Sun TV will be used to undertake Covid relief works carried out by the central and state governments along with various other non-profits. Sun TV Network is donating a sum of Rs 30 crore to provide relief to those affected by the second wave of the Covid pandemic. This will be spent on several initiatives currently underway at various states of India including the following: 1. Donations to the various programmes initiated by the government of India and state governments. 2. Partnering with NGOs that are providing oxygen cylinders, medicines, etc, said Sunrisers Hyderabad.
