Friends and neighbors say they tried breaking those windows to get the victim out but firefighters later found her body inside. Friends and family identified the victim as 45yearold tasha roots, shes lived here in salem for years and neighbors say she was chatting with them just last night, everything seemed fine but by 3 00 in the morning her house was fully engulfed in flames. Witnesses described smoke pouring out of the windows as relatives and friends tried desperately to get her out in time but this fire was far too intense.
