last month, more than 300 members of the u.k. youth parliament, ages 11 to 18 gathered in the house of commons for a debate. the students debated several topics including sex education in schools, the war in afghanistan and the rising cost of university tuition fees. the speaker of the house of commons presides over this 90 minute debate.
