Let s face it, 2008 hasn t been a great year for popular music. Whilst sales don t equate to great music, compiling this list we found little of merit with a platinum/gold/silver disc to its name. After years of bands from our world breaking through (Arctic Monkeys, Franz, Outkast, Strokes, Bloc Party, Gnarls, Arcade Fire, etc.), it was a stark but healthy reminder just how clogged up the current mainstream is with the derivative and the unexceptional. We made a rather gargantuan list and tripled checked it but there was no undeniably brilliant pop to be found, bar singular glory for
michael flynn was unmasked, his name was unmasked and it was revealed to newspapers. if that was done for political reasons or if it was leaked to the media all of that falls into the illegality venue including a possibility felony. obviously on your committee you would want to know the answer to that question, right? martha what s interesting is our committee doesn t have access to those materials they re actually held by the white house. why doesn t the white house show any evidence it has of wrongdoing? martha: hold on now. catherine i herridge reported last night that all everything that was subpoenaed, they ve been fully complied with, they ve all been turned over to the committees and that you do have the information that you need to dig into the question of unmasking. yeah what i m saying martha just to be clear the white house has the power of declassification. if there s a piece of evidence that they have that somebody did
does the president give us an extension? does he give us delay like he has done for big business. let s wait until march 31st, tony before we project those things. it ain t even halloween yet. ain t working, bob. martha: we ll see if the computer can dim crime nate between republicans and democrats. bill: hold on now. this will be a headline. that is a bank of microphones in the capitol. we should see republican leaders sometime this morning. this is what we can confirm through rich edson and folks at fox business. what republicans in the house will push for is suspension of that medical device tax, 2.3%. they re going to push for income verification for subsidies, if you receive subsidies for obamacare. to verify your income. and also they will push for obamacare enforcement without subsidies for members about congress and all members of the administration. so that is the breaking news now, after this caucus for house leaders and house republican
come up with study after study showing that unionization is bad for the economy. i m willing to go along with your point. look, i always look what the facts are. you show me the study or professor or whatever, the economy that s done better with unionization as opposed to nonunionization and until i see that, i don t believe it. our economy, unionization saved our economy in the 1930 s and the 1930 s is not the year that and do you think that our economy is stronger now than it was in the 30 s? i still think it s stronger than now it was in the 30 s. brenda: hold on now, wait. it s not stronger than it was in the 50 s, when he had the you don t think our economy is stronger now than it was in the 50 s. brenda: wait, let me just aed to jonas point, please. just for the record. the industrial revolution wasn t in the depression. brenda: we have to wait for that note. benny goodman is on the other line. brenda: all right. you want to know why voters number one worry
threat as well this morning. reynolds wolf standing by. he ll be here in a moment with the latest from there and all over the country. and herman cain is out. so who s in the best position to take iowa and maybe even take some of his supporters? we ve got new poll numbers out. going give us some clues. let s get through some of the morning s headlines now. police in riot gear swept into a portland park kicking out occupy protesters overnight. a number of them were arrested. they had set up camps there after being kicked out of another park by police a few weeks ago. after police cleared the park, city workers came through, tore down all the tent. while they were doing that, the occupy protesters roamed the streets looking for a new place to set up. one of the reasons that i ran for president of the united states was such that i could change washington, d.c., from the inside. plan b is that we are going to have to change it from the outside. [ cheers ] yeah. he moved on
