JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida State track and field teams concluded action at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds at The University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium on Saturday, punching seven more tickets to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. “We didn’t get all the qualifiers that we wanted but we are bringing a large group of Ladies to Nationals and have the athletes we need to be Top 5,” said head coach Bob Braman. “12 Ladies with 9 scoring opportunities.” The FSU women racked up four qualifiers in the first two events of the day, beginning with the discus throw.
