That professor teaches here on the abington campus. Penn states website says she teaches sociology but it was outside the classroom that authorities in miami say she became unruly on a plane. That cell phone video there recorded by one of the passengers on an American Airlines flight from nicaragua to miami on saturday. 52yearold karen halnon told our nbc station in miami by phone that she was protesting the u. S. Declaration that venezuela is a National Security threat. Halnon also lit a cigarette according to other passengers and smoked a few puffs before a Flight Attendant came over. She was arrested for being disorderly and interfering with the flight crew. After it all, halnon says she didnt mean any harm, calling herself a revolutionary.
