The stabbing hammed just before 2 00 when dozens of students were inside the dining hall economy common air. Students and faculty got the Emergency Alert to shelter in place. We look over and hes sitting at a chair and they have all these like napkins taped to him trying to stop bleeding and theres cop cars everywhere. Reporter 45 minutes later the shelter in place was lifted. But not before students left campus shaken. I was kind of a little scared at first because you hear it happening at other campuses you dont think its going happen at yours. Hours after the fire started. Five people were hurt and crews are still on the scene tonight. Good evening im iain page. Im lucy noland. Fox 29s Shawnette Wilson is outside that apartment complex. Shawnette what do you see . Reporter well it has been a long day a long evening for firefighters the fire is under control but take look behind me. You can see that crews are still spraying water working on putting out some hot spots. This fire took about 30 pieces of equipment and more than 100 firefighters to tackle it. It wasnt that bad when weenies came outside. It was only in one apartment. I dont understand why its like this now. Reporter devastation and tears flowing from tara miller as she watches the Apartment Building where she lived go up in flames. They havent been able to put the fire out. They been able to put it out. Im sure everyone is talking about empire this morning. It is the truth. Sure were last night. So thanks to miss tootsies south street, for hosting us there. Good morning there is our favorite number, 29 degrees, we just arent really thrilled when it is our temperature but thats how cold it is really outside. But look how cold it feels. 22 degrees is our windchill this morning with a 7mile an hour breeze out of the northeast. Sunrise will happen officially at 7 06 this morning. Nothing show you on radar right now. This is what is headed our way. By the time it gets here this radar wont be all green. Theyll see some white on it tomorrow and that will indicate yes snow for friday. 46 degrees will be our high today.
