Will hit snow with gusts of 50 miles an hour. Already a few inches of snow fallen at north star. Snowing there since sunrise. Another four inches is expected overnight. Despite todays rain, Governor Brown is challenging all californians to change their behavior when it comes to water use. The governor says it has to happen to make it through a drought of this magnitude. Brown ordered an unprecedented mandatory 25 water cuts across the board. If people do not conserve the Water Districts can enforce the cuts. Each Water District that delivers waters water to homes and businesses they care teout. We have a state water board that oversees the relationship with all of the local districts. Hundreds of them. And, so, if they dont comply they will get fined, 500 a day. The suspect getting off metro about here, taking a left turn towards pennsylvania avenue and 7th street. The markings on his clothing was so unusual, they are hoping 70 spotted him. The trouble started at about 1 00 in the afternoon. The 69yearold man told the police that the younger man shoved him when they got off the train of the Eastern Market metro station, then all the way up the escalator, they argued. When he reached the upper platform, the younger man struck. He spits in the mans face and then punches him three times. The victim falls on the escalator. He is 69 years old. We found the video very disturbing. Roz the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated. News of the brazen assault left other passengers reeling. Thats ridiculous. Nobody should be doing that to a 69yearold man. Roz metro quickly got the suspects pictures out, hoping that somebodys memory may be jogged.
