i would be surprised if the jury isn t thinking about that rebuttal argument when they walked into that jury room. briefly before i go to mark, sunny, how diverse is the jury? what s the makeup of the jury in terms of races? it is quite diverse. it s very different from the zimmerman jury. we know there were only six in the zimmerman journey. two african-american women, about in their 20s or 30s, also an asian woman, there s also a hispanic male. all the rest are white. seven of them are women, five are men. mark, how do you think that plays? at the start of this you said a lot of this depends on jury selection and the makeup of the jury. that s one of the reasons i ve said i think the best the defense can hope for in this case is a hung jury. i don t think you re going to see an acquittal. we ll see. it s florida. but my guess is, my best guess is that the best thing the defense can hope for is some kind of a split and a hung jury. i don t think you re going to see a not guilt
shoot landsbury, to shoot two other students and then turn the gun on himself and shoot and kill himself. we also know that those two students he shot as of last night, they were in critical they were in stable condition which is good news and according to reports, the suspect was a hispanic male. it s really unclear if he was targeting his victims or exactly what his motive was when he showed up to the school and started shooting. still a lot of questions. there s another press conference planned for later on tonight, jon, so people should anticipate to get more answers throughout the day. jon: very, very sad story. will carr, thank you. jenna: some new concerns about rising tensions between the united states and saudi arabia after the saudi intelligence chief reportedly announcing is announcing plans to scale back cooperation with the united states in regards to arming and training syrian rebels. this follows saudi arabia s decision to renounce the seat on the u.n. security counc
the drama begins in tyler s town square at the smith county courthouse, where every day, passions run high. in a courthouse, whether it s new york city or tyler, texas, that courthouse is full of emotion. especially in the courts of divorce and child custody. that day, february 24th, 2005, 43-year-old david arroyo is waiting outside for his ex-wife to arrive for a child support hearing. he had somehow blamed all the problems in life on his wife and his son. armed with a powerful semiautomatic rifle, he opens fire. we have shots fired on the square. we have someone down. appears to be a hispanic male. looks like he s in front of the old levine store. the shooting is all caught on a courthouse surveillance
some are black, some are his panic, as well. i can t tell you if he said some are white because i can t hear all the types. but you have a hispanic guy that has called out hispanic people as well as blacks. yes. they re looking at the other comment. he didn t just say these are a black male. he said these a-holes always get away. he called them as expletive and a punk. he had an attitude before him before he ever met him. that s what they re trying to bring in. so these are the tapes beforehand. these have nothing to do with the tapes the night of that has nothing to do with trayvon. exactly. i know he s talked about the description of the man, hispanic male, a description of the man, a black male. let me point this out. black people and hispanic people can profile other black and hispanic people. it happens all the time. they re saying this is a pattern
this. i hear you champing at the bit to jump in. listen, if what pat lynch, the pba president says, if what he says is true, it does handcuff cops. i think the ad they have out there, you know, with the blindfolded cop, that s what it is. if all you can say is a description of the clothing, if that s how specific it is, then no. cops aren t going to be able to do their job. what are you going to do? how many years did you work the streets? 26. 26 years. all allegations of racial profiling, how do you find that middle ground? let s say you re robbed on the street. you ve been a victim of robbery before here in atlanta. what if you saw somebody and said, oh, it was a black male, white male, hispanic male, asian male. we don t you don t know. might be a light skinned male, black male. might be a white guy. might be puerto rican. we don t know. you got to be able to give the description to the officers on the street.
