A  New York entrepreneur with Berkshire County ties has launched a new sparkling wine canned cocktail called Champé. Champé Handcrafted Berkshire Bubbly, the brainchild of DJ DiBuono of Troy, NY, is the latest canned cocktail to hit the market, but this one is made right here in The Berkshires. DiBuono, who has family ties to The Berkshires, reached out to local winery Hilltop Orchards amidst the pandemic. He was looking for a partner to produce and can his product, and it seemed to be a great fit, DiBuono told Spectrum News. At 5% ABV, 140 Calories, and no added sugars, the sparkling cocktail brags that they offer more flavor and less guilt than traditional sparkling wine cocktails.
