SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA Southbound traffic on U.S. 101 was completely shut down at one point amid a shooting investigation that is slowing traffic well into the afternoon, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
California Highway Patrol Officer Mark Andrews said two southbound lanes between Oyster Point and Grand Avenue opened by 2 p.m. and two others remained closed according to the report.
Officers arrived on the scene in response to reports of a traffic accident and found evidence that one of the vehicles was involved in a shooting, the report said.
