A crash early Sunday on the Bay Bridge claimed the life of a 22-year-old man and injured four others, and led to all westbound lanes on the bridge being temporarily closed.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA Southbound traffic on U.S. 101 was completely shut down at one point amid a shooting investigation that is slowing traffic well into the afternoon, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Officers arrived on the scene in response to reports of a traffic accident and found evidence that one of the vehicles was involved in a shooting, the report said.
