Pennsylvania Acting Health Secretary Alison Beam says today is a key day in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. All Pennsylvanians 16 and older will be eligible to schedule a vaccine appointment, Beam says. That s almost a week sooner than the previously scheduled date of Monday, April 19th. The state hopes moving the eligibility date ahead will help it get to its goal of getting 80-percent of eligible adults vaccinated faster.
Pennsylvania is sending mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics to minority communities. The state is partnering with the Latino Connection and Highmark Blue Shield.
