航運股23日重回主流地位，成交值占大盤35%，貨櫃三雄成功「吸金」，搶下成交額前三名，成交金額依序為長榮的793億元、陽明623億元和萬海365億元，也推升台股當沖比站回5成以上。
長榮上漲逾 7%至154元，陽明也有漲3.5%漲幅，收在145.5元，萬海尾盤壓回至平盤240元，散裝航運的慧洋 - KY、四維航、中櫃、裕民等跟著大漲一吐悶氣。
另外，鋼鐵族群在中鋼大漲3%領軍下，燁興亮燈漲停，彰源、威致、中鴻、允強、海光等也連袂強勢反彈，漲幅在3%至6%之間。
萬寶投顧總監蔡明彰表示，8月15日是公告半年報最後期限，凡是有半年報實力的公司會持續反彈，尤其是本周跌深的航運和鋼鐵，但也提醒投資人，航運股在這波下殺過程中，套牢相當多籌碼，在8月中旬半年報底牌還沒打出來前，航運反彈可能只適合搶差價。
