The four shortlisted landscape designers have produced artists impressions showing what their schemes for Highgate s West Cemetery could look like

New images of visions for Highgate Cemetery, by four shortlisted landscape designers, have been released.
A decision is due this month after a competition was launched in 2020 to come up with designs.
The four finalists are Colvin & Moggridge, Gustafson Porter + Bowman, J&L Gibbons and Periscope.

Covid-19 rates have fallen in Enfield and Haringey Enfield and Haringey saw further steep falls in their seven-day coronavirus infection rates nearly one month into the national lockdown. The latest data reveals Enfield recorded 360 new cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 people in the seven days to January 27 – the 14th highest rate in London. Haringey’s infection rate over the same period was 333 per 100,000 people – 18th out of the London boroughs. Despite the falls, they remained above the UK average Covid-19 infection rate of 273 new cases per 100,000 people. The worst-hit part of Enfield during the latest seven-day period was Ponders End South, which recorded 59 new cases of Covid-19 according to a government map of ‘middle layer super output areas’.
