Leon, this is the area on brookville road where it all took place. It happened back here in had this industry area. There are a number of businesses located back here. Used car lot. Several landscaping companies. This started to unfold around 8 00 this morning. Authorities say an employee of a Landscaping Company showed up for work and he was very agitated. Coworkers say he went to a car and grabbed a shotgun. He fired off one round into a mulch pile and then pointed the gun at a coworker. Police responded and shut down all roads surrounding the business which left many trying to figure out how to get to work. And other businesses on lockdown. Weve locked all the doors and obviously, nobody is coming in or out. Theres no immediate threat. Theyve got the swat teams in our parking lot so theyre certainly

What we understand is that residents here in this community jumped into action to try to get those people out. Then a man driving this blue recycling truck stopped at the intersection after seeing smoke and fire coming from that house to help get those individuals out. This all happened just after 9 00 this morning. We just talked to that truck driver within the last 10 minutes. He says he could feel the heat coming off the house as he got out of his truck and tried to help those other residents to get the two individuals, a man and a woman, from the home outside of that house. We understand in talking to Prince Georges County fire officials, again this all happened just after 9 00 this morning. That that man is said to be in they are 80s and a father and daughter were taken to the hospital, we understand with smoke inhalation and burn injuries. This is a community effort. They say they quickly tried to get them out of the house here and they were taken again as we said to the hospital
